You can test the nomination process in advance
- Test the nomination process
- Eliminate errors when configuring the candidate proposals
- Test run with up to five test persons
Preparations for the test nomination
Before the actual nomination, we recommend that you first use the Online Voting Manager to conduct a test nomination with up to five test persons. For this, you have to create the candidate proposals and give the nomination a name. You should also have booked the features already and have made the necessary settings. The only things you do not have to do yet are to create the register of nominators and schedule the nomination period. These can be done after the test vote.
POLYAS tip: Instructions for creating a register are available here.
Starting the test nomination
Click the “Test” button to start the test nomination. You will find it on the lower right-hand side next to the price for your online nomination.
In the window that opens, you can enter the e-mail addresses of your test persons. A maximum of five people can test the online nomination. Below the input for the test persons, you can specify when your test nomination should end. Note that it should run for at least one day and for a maximum of seven days, but it can also be stopped manually at any time. Now click on “Start test nomination” and wait until your nomination has been finalized. Your test persons now receive an e-mail with the invitation.
Nomination testing
As soon as the test nomination has started, you can go to the login page for your nomination by clicking on “To the nomination platform”. You now log in with the access credentials from your invitation and start the nomination.
Exit and download results
You can stop the test manually from the Online Voting Manager by clicking on Test. Click on the red button "Stop test nominations" at the bottom right. You can then download an Excel file with the results of your test nomination and the settings for your nominations. You can find this download below the test person input (“Download results”). An overview of the test nominations you have already carried out is available here.
► Note: It is possible to carry out more than one test.
